Latest News: Help to SaveThe William Salt Library in Stafford

Welcome To Staffordshire Heritage Group

We are an umbrella group for all the local history, genealogy and archaeology groups within Staffordshire, which meets four times a year, at the Civic Offices in Stafford.

We promote, maintain, and encourage good practice, research, preservation of records and collaboration with other interested bodies in connection with local history, genealogy and archaeology.

Staffordshire really stands out in history, from its Stone Age origins, through Roman and medieval times to modern industrial life. We have towns and villages with churches, castles and stately homes reflecting the unique identity of our area.

Next Group Meeting

Location: Monday 27th April at 7:00pm at Castle Church Rooms, Newport Road, Stafford.

For a complete listing of local events please visit our calendar available here.
